Job summary

Willowbrook Homecare is seeking a dedicated Care Manager to support the Hyndburn branch in delivering high-quality, person-centred homecare. You will work with the Registered Manager and senior team to ensure services meet individual needs and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong leadership, rostering, and coaching skills, with experience in care planning, safeguarding, and performance management. The company offers flexible hours and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates passion for person-centred care and outcome-focused service provision.
• Holds or is working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Health & Social Care Management (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a manager in domiciliary care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC expectations and inspection approach.
• Experience in training, coaching and mentoring care staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Hyndburn operations team in delivering Willowbrook’s high-quality service.
• Support the Registered Manager to maintain a positive workplace culture.
• Manage referrals and service contracts in line with specifications.
• Coordinate visits and assessments with Care Coordinator and Field Care Supervisors.
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and safety compliance.
• Monitor staff training, attendance, and policy adherence.
• Assist with rostering to ensure effective coverage and recruitment.
