Job summary

Eden Futures is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team across Supported Living services in Chesterfield. You will help adults with learning disabilities, autism and related needs to live as independently as possible, in homes and in the community.

The role offers development through e-learning and training, with a focus on person-centered care and safeguarding. A £500 refer-a-friend bonus and competitive hourly pay are part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and care plans
• Help keep service users safe and safeguard their welfare
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach
• Assist with social activities, finances, medication, practical tasks at home and personal care
• Hold informal contact with families and social workers in the service users' circle of support
• Accurately report and record health and wellbeing related issues
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote safety for others
