Job summary

Wilderness Way is seeking a Registered Manager for Children’s Residential care in the UK. You will lead two Ofsted-registered homes, maintain 2:1 relationship-based care, and manage structured shifts and a full year rota.

We support you with an Operational Manager, Assistant Managers, HRBP, Recruiters and Compliance teams, plus a Learning Partner to help staff achieve L3 qualifications and ensure safeguarding compliance.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in children’s residential care, social work, or secure care within the last five years.
• Strong understanding of SCCIF and care regulations is desirable.
• Driving licence and ability to operate in a UK care setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage two Ofsted-registered solo homes, each with individual registrations.
• Oversee 2:1 relationship-based care across homes.
• Operate with set shifts and a full year’s rota.
• Collaborate with Operational Manager, Assistant Managers, HRBP, Recruiters, Compliance, and Learning Partner.
• Provide safeguarding guidance and ensure regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality care.
