Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation, cooking and serving meals, meeting dietary needs.
• Plan menus with budget considerations and ensure hygiene standards.
• Maintain records of stock, temperatures and deliveries.
• Prepare staff rota and assist Home Manager with recruitment where needed.
• Train staff on hygiene procedures and safety policies.
• Enforce health and safety policies in kitchen and dining areas.
• Promote a positive professional profile within the community.
