Job summary

Parklands Care Homes at Weston View Care Home in Keith, Scotland, is seeking a Pantry Assistant to support meals for residents and maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and dining area. You will assist with breakfast, light meals, and daily menus while ensuring safety and accommodating dietary needs.

The role offers part-time hours (20 or 10 per week) with a flexible schedule, £13.00 per hour, and training to support your growth within a caring team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in kitchen/food service preferred.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Cook Safe system, ensuring food safety, temperature monitoring and hygiene.
• Prepare and serve breakfast, offer meal choices, and cook light meals.
• Liaise with cooks to accommodate dietary needs and complete daily menus.
• Clear tables, wash dishes, prep vegetables, and maintain a clean kitchen and dining area.
• Order and store food supplies, ensuring stock while following infection control policies.
• Attend mandatory training as required.
• Maintain positive attitude and help others within the team.
