Job summary

Parklands Care Homes in Inverness is seeking a Pantry Assistant for our new Pittyvaich Care Home. The role involves maintaining the pantry, preparing and serving breakfast and light meals, and ensuring residents' dietary needs are met.

We value adaptability, good communication, and teamwork. Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred, and training will be provided. This part-time role (20 hours per week) includes weekend shifts and an hourly rate of £13.00.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Willingness to learn and train.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Cook Safe system and monitor temperature and hygiene.
• Prepare breakfast and light meals.
• Coordinate with cooks on dietary needs and allergies.
• Clear tables and maintain the dining area.
• Order and store supplies and maintain stock.
• Attend mandatory training.
