Job summary

Stanely Park Care Home in Paisley’s Balgonie area is investing in a warm, 40-bed environment providing high-quality residential and respite care. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of meals in a safe, well-organised kitchen with a part-time shift from 4pm to 7:30pm and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour, plus PVG paid, pension, and uniform provided.

You will help with food preparation, keep the kitchen clean, assist with deliveries, stock organisation and work closely with the Chef

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Stanely Park Care Home, located in Paisley’s Balgonie area, is a warm and welcoming 40-bed home, recently refurbished to offer a modern, comfortable environment. We provide high-quality residential and respite care in a homely setting where residents feel safe, supported, and valued.

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to part time hours per week - 4pm - 7.30pm
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
