Job summary

Worsley Lodge Care Home invites an experienced Home Manager to take full day-to-day leadership of the home. You will build trust with residents, relatives and colleagues, drive quality improvement, strengthen governance and embed improvements beyond inspection cycles.

You will lead the leadership team, focus on staff engagement and retention, and ensure a stable, capable workforce that maintains occupancy and delivers compassionate, cost-aware care.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading a care home with strong governance and regulatory compliance.
• Experience delivering measurable quality improvements and staff development.
• Ability to manage budgets, occupancy and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and staffing at Worsley Lodge Care Home.
• Strengthen governance, auditing and safeguarding within a regulated environment.
• Develop leadership teams, improve staff engagement and retention.
• Maintain occupancy and ensure financial sustainability while prioritising residents’ needs.
• Translate improvement plans into consistent, sustainable practice.
