Job summary

A leading health care provider in Brighton is looking for a committed Registered Care Home Manager to manage a residential care home. The role involves overseeing service user support, leading care staff, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Qualifications

  • Must hold NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Proven track record in residential home management as a manager or deputy manager.
  • Elderly/dementia experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage risks to service users so they are supported.
  • Ensure care staff provides timely assistance to service user group.
  • Manage the medication process correctly.
  • Organise access to healthcare services for service users.
  • Ensure care staff are confident and skilled.
  • Assess service user needs and respond to changes.
  • Update care plans to reflect given care and support.
  • Promote an open culture reflecting service user opinions.
