Athena Care Homes’ Aria Court Care Home in March, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep the home safe and well-presented for residents and staff.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will conduct repairs, maintain electrical and plumbing systems, and support a high standard of service across the home. The role is 40 hours per week on a rota with an induction and benefits.

Formación

• Experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally in a healthcare environment.
• Excellent written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of building maintenance and related systems.
• Good computer skills to complete reporting duties.

Responsabilidades

• Fix minor repairs and plumbing promptly and safely.
• Maintain electrical equipment, drainage systems, and boiler house as needed.
• Ensure home decoration meets high standards and snag items promptly.
• Carry out weekly tests of emergency systems within the home.
