Job summary

Jasmine Healthcare is recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant at South Moor Lodge Care Home in Walkeringham. You will assist in preparing, cooking and serving meals to residents in a friendly, care-focused environment.

The role requires basic catering experience, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to resident well-being. NVQ Level 2 and health & safety training are encouraged; multiple shifts available with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, cooking and serving meals to residents.

• Promote residents' choice, dignity and independence.
• Live within 20 minutes of the home.
• Be willing to pursue NVQ Level 2 in a relevant qualification.
