Formby Manor, part of Lovett Care Limited, is seeking a kind, caring Hospitality Assistant for a 35-hour fixed-term contract up to 8 months to cover maternity leave. The role runs 0800-1900 with alternate weekend work, and pays £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or catering experience is desirable.
• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team.
• Prepared to participate in activities organised in the Home.

Responsibilities

• Ensure there is a provision of high standard of hospitality service.
• Support and assist visitors.
• Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.
• Ensure that all training given is adhered to.
• Ensure records and reports are properly written up.
• Take responsibility for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
