Job summary

HC-One is hiring a Gardner to join the gardening team across care homes. You will perform general gardening tasks, maintain grounds to a high standard and assist with maintenance of equipment.

You will also be involved in painting fences and garden furniture, and will support salt gritting and snow clearance as part of the estates team. A driving licence is required as the role covers multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must have a driving licence and be able to drive a company vehicle
• Experience in gardening or horticulture is desirable but not essential
• Commitment to health and safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Undertake general gardening duties across care home grounds
• Maintain and present gardens to a high standard
• Maintain gardening machinery and tools; paint external fencing and garden furniture
• Salt grit and snow clearance as required; assist estates team
