Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is recruiting a Gardener to maintain the gardens and grounds of our care homes to a high standard. The role involves planting seasonal foliage, lawn care, pruning, weeding, and tidying paths and driveways.

You will also service gardening equipment, paint external fencing and furniture, and work with the estates team on snow clearance and other maintenance tasks. Driving is required as the role covers multiple homes and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive and access to a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform general gardening duties across care home grounds, including planting, grass-cutting, pruning and weeding.
• Maintain and repair gardening machinery and tools, and carry out safety tests as required.
• Paint external fencing and garden furniture and assist with maintenance of fences.
• Assist with salt gritting and snow clearance as part of estates responsibilities.
• Support the estates team and coordinate with other colleagues to maintain high standards.
