Job summary

HC-One - Brierton Lodge is seeking a dedicated Gardener to join the gardening team at the care home. You will maintain and present the gardens to a high standard, carry out general duties, and work with the Estates Team to support site maintenance.

The role requires a driving licence and will involve working across multiple care homes. Full training is provided, with a competitive benefits package including DBS/PVG checks, a pension, and 28 days of annual leave.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required

• Willingness to undertake mandatory and specialist training

Responsibilities

• Undertake general gardening duties and maintain gardens and grounds to a high standard.
• Maintain gardening machinery and tools; perform tests and routine checks.
• Paint external fences and garden furniture; ensure maintenance and repair of fences.
• Carry out salt gritting and snow clearance as required.
• Work closely with the Estates Team to support site maintenance.
