Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Gardener to maintain and present the gardens and grounds of our Care Homes to a high standard. You will be part of a Gardening team and respond flexibly to changing needs across the region.

The role involves general gardening tasks, machinery maintenance, weather-related duties and painting fences. It is a full-time position covering 3 care homes, with driving required and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a company vehicle
• Full driving licence required

Responsibilities

• General gardening duties and maintenance of all gardens, including planting, grass-cutting, shrubs, pruning and watering of hanging baskets
• Tend to pathways, walkways and driveways within care home grounds
• Maintain gardening machinery and tools, carry out tests and checks as required
• Paint external fencing and garden furniture, ensure repairs where needed
• Salt gritting and snow clearance as part of estates team duties
