Peregrine House in Tottenham, part of Gold Care Homes, seeks a dedicated Shift Team Leader to supervise care staff and drive quality patient care. The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and adherence to Gold Care standards within a technology‑driven environment.

You will support ongoing training, oversee service delivery, and promote professional standards while cooperating with the Home Manager and maintenance teams to ensure a safe, welcoming home for residents.

Qualifications

• Act as Shift Team Leader and supervise care staff.
• Contribute to training of care staff and act as role model.
• Attend mandatory training and uphold professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Shift Team Leader and provide supervision and development for care staff.
• Contribute to the training of care staff and other staff, acting as a role model at all times.
• Actively participate in personal and professional development opportunities, attending necessary mandatory training as identified.
• Ensure the Gold Care standards and support systems are effectively operated and lead to positive outcomes for people who use our services.
• Monitor, audit and review the service, taking corrective action where necessary.
• Demonstrate high professional standards and leadership, maintaining appropriate professional memberships.
• Assist with supervision/appraisal of staff in line with company policy and ongoing evaluation of staff performance.
• Adhere to Gold Care policies and procedures, legal requirements and codes of practice.
• Assist with recruitment, performance management and deployment of staff to deliver high quality care.
• Liaise with maintenance contractors and others involved in property upkeep.
