Job summary

Bryn Edwin Hall Residential Care Home, operated by Ambercare Limited, seeks a Kitchen Assistant to provide nutritious meals for residents. You will cook breakfasts, assist with occasional baking, manage stock, and prepare trays and orders while ensuring food safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering is useful but not essential.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to cover shifts.
• Training provided on-site and online.

Responsibilities

• Cooked breakfasts and occasional home baking (cakes and sandwiches).
• Stock control and ordering food from suppliers.
• Prepare food orders for residents and trays for diners.
• Prepare basic condiments and sauces.
• Wash dirty utensils, crockery, pots and pans.
• Assist with health and safety requirements and paperwork.
