Job summary

Roseberry Care is seeking a Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly team in Morpeth, UK. You will maintain a clean, safe environment across bedrooms, communal areas and care facilities, ensuring high standards of hygiene are met for residents, staff and visitors.

The role offers part-time hours (15 per week) at a competitive hourly rate, with ongoing training, development and a supportive team culture. Flexible working patterns and opportunities for progression are available within our 25 homes

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably in a care setting.
Understanding of cleanliness standards in a residential care environment.
Respectful, compassionate and considerate when working around vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways).
Follow infection prevention and control procedures in line with care home policies.
Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with health regulations.
Restock cleaning supplies and inform management of low inventory.
Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
Participate in training relevant to the role (e.g. COSHH, safeguarding, infection control).
