Roseberry Care Centres is seeking a reliable Domestic Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment at The Evergreens, Forest Hall, Newcastle, NE12 9BQ. The role covers cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, and care facilities to uphold high hygiene standards for residents, staff, and visitors.

The role emphasizes compassion, attention to detail, and adherence to infection control and health regulations. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Competenze

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in care settings.
• Understanding cleanliness standards in residential care environments.
• Respectful and compassionate when working around vulnerable adults.
• Physical ability for manual tasks and standing for long periods.

Mansioni

• Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways).
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures per care home policies.
• Dispose of waste safely and in line with health regulations.
• Restock cleaning supplies and inform management of low inventory.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
• Participate in role training (COSHH, safeguarding, infection control).
