Roseberry Care Centres is seeking a reliable Domestic Cleaner for Dolphin View Nursing Home in Morpeth. You will maintain a clean, safe environment across resident bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring high hygiene standards for residents, staff and visitors.

The role offers 15 hours per week with a salary of £13.45 per hour. Training and development opportunities, a supportive team, and a pathway for progression across 25 homes are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• Understanding of cleanliness standards in a residential care setting.
• Respectful, compassionate, and considerate when working around vulnerable adults.
• Physical ability to carry out manual tasks and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways).
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures in line with care home policies.
• Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with health regulations.
• Restock cleaning supplies and inform management of low inventory.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
• Participate in training relevant to the role (e.g. COSHH, safeguarding, infection control).
