Job summary

Templeton House Care Home in Ayr is seeking a dedicated Chef to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for up to 69 residents. The role focuses on consistent, well-presented dishes with attention to dietary needs and preferences, while maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety.

You will work in a supportive team, contribute to menu planning, and benefit from a stable day shift pattern with no late evenings or split shifts.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, nutritious meals.
