Job summary

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive and reliable approach.

Contracted hours: 38.5 hours

Chef Contract

• £13.26 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Chef, you will deliver high quality, nutritious and enjoyable meals that are a key part of daily life. You will take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring meals are tailored to individual dietary needs, preferences and nutritional requirements. Maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety, you will consistently deliver meals that residents look forward to each day. Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and smooth day to day service. With no late evenings or split shifts, this role offers a strong work life balance while still allowing you to take pride in producing high quality food in a rewarding environment.
