Job summary

INDHOS is seeking experienced Care Home Chefs to work across Lincoln and surrounding areas. We offer flexible shifts—from a few shifts each week to full-time temporary roles—with ongoing assignments to suit your availability.

You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals, cater for dietary needs, and ensure food safety and quality across different care home kitchens. Enhanced DBS is required, and immediate starts with weekly pay are available.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS required.
• Experience as Chef de Partie or higher in high-volume catering.
• Experience in care homes or healthcare catering.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present fresh, nutritious meals for residents.
• Plan breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks per service.
• Cater for dietary needs including allergies and textures.
• Ensure meals are well presented and match residents' preferences.
• Maintain clean, safe kitchen environment.
• Perform daily food safety checks and temperature monitoring.
• Follow HACCP and food hygiene regulations.
• Adapt to different kitchen teams and environments.
