Burford House Care Home is seeking a caring and creative Chef to join a friendly team. You will prepare hot and cold meals, respect dietary needs, and help plan seasonal menus to make mealtimes enjoyable for residents.

Hours are 40 per week over 4 days, including weekends, 7.00am–5.30pm. You’ll work in a welcoming kitchen at Burford House Care Home with opportunities for training and progression within Westgate Healthcare.

Qualifications

• You must have a Certificate Level II in Food Safety and Hygiene.
• Experience with food production for care home residents is desirable.
• Ability to plan and prepare meals that meet dietary needs.

Responsabilités

• Prepare delicious, nutritious hot and cold meals for residents.
• Plan and prepare seasonal menus with dietary considerations.
• Ensure kitchen practices comply with Health & Safety policies.
• Record fridge and food temperatures and maintain hygiene.
• Keep a clean, safe kitchen and report any concerns.
• Work as part of the care home team to ensure a positive mealtime experience.
