Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Care Home Chef to deliver nutritious, appealing meals for residents in a peaceful Witney care home. You will plan menus, cook meals for groups, and adapt dishes for dietary needs while upholding high hygiene standards.

This role offers £16.40 per hour, 37.5 hours per week, and weekend enhancements with alternate weekends. Benefits include pension, DBS check, uniform, and access to employee benefits portal.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen (essential).
• Experience in a care or nursing home kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to plan varied menus balancing nutrition and residents' preferences.
• Strong understanding of specialist diets and nutritional requirements.
• Knowledge of allergens and safe allergen management.
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals when needed.
• High standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Good organisation to manage a busy kitchen.
• Reliable, flexible, professional approach to work.
