Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes Ltd is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to support the Hotel Services Manager in delivering nutritious, well-presented meals for residents in our care homes. The role follows a planned production model with an à la carte style menu, offering opportunities to create seasonal dishes.

You will supervise and train kitchen staff, ensure food safety with HACCP, COSHH and IDDSI, manage stock, and work 10-hour shifts on a rota including alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• NVQ II/III in Catering is required or desirable.
• Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and IDDSI.
• Experience catering for significant numbers in a Care Home is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HSM in delivering nutritionally balanced, high-quality meals.
• Prepare and cook according to menus.
• Supervise and train junior staff in catering duties.
