Job summary

Exemplar Health Care's Primrose Place in Coalville is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to design and lead nutritious menus in our new kitchen. You’ll head the catering team, manage daily kitchen operations and ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, paying £14.43 per hour. You’ll shape menus to meet dietary needs, control budgets and provide training and induction for staff as we grow the team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a catering manager or head of kitchen in care or similar setting.
• Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification or working towards.
• Ability to manage catering budget and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Prepare, cook and serve meals.
• Develop suitable menus for varied dietary needs.
• Ensure food hygiene standards and maintain records.
• Control stock and purchases within budget.
• Lead and train Catering Team members.
