Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to support the Hotel Services Manager and craft delicious, nutritious meals for residents at Rush Court Care Home. The kitchen operates on a planned production model with an à la carte-style menu and no late nights.

You'll supervise junior staff, train on Food Hygiene and COSHH, manage stock and ensure safe storage, with structured hours and weekend rotas to support work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience catering for significant numbers in a Care Home.
• Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and IDDSI.
• NVQ II/III in Catering or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Hotel Services Manager in providing high-quality, nutritionally balanced food.
• Prepare and cook following established menus.
• Supervise and train junior staff in catering duties.
• Train staff in Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and COSHH.
