Job summary

Agincare Live In Management Services is seeking an experienced Care Coordinator in Portland, Dorset. You will schedule and match care workers with clients, ensuring high-quality, consistent care across the South West while supporting new client starts and maintaining smooth service delivery.

The role requires 12 months UK right to work, strong organisation, and availability for 40 hours weekly during office hours (08:30–17:00). A rewarding career with a long-standing UK care provider awaits.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months of right to work in the UK.
• Great level of attention to detail and well organised.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, office hours 08:30–17:00.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate care schedules to ensure continuity and quality.
• Support new client starts and match clients with suitable care workers.
• Maintain safeguarding procedures and respond to concerns, abuse or complaints.
• Prioritise communication with next of kin, GPs, nurses and other professionals where care is affected.
• Keep the Registered Manager informed of concerns, changes or developments.
• Record all care worker holidays, sickness, and absences electronically.
• Collaborate with care teams, clients and professionals to resolve scheduling issues.
• Ensure clients receive right care at the right time from the right person.
