Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care Coordinator to keep extraordinary care running smoothly within the local area. You will work closely with the Branch Care Manager to support carers, customers and the community, ensuring visits are well-planned and teams feel supported.

You will help recruit, supervise and develop carers, review care plans, and look for growth opportunities for the branch while maintaining exceptional customer service and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across local area.
• Allocate carers to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time to support carers' development.
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding new carers to grow branch capacity.
• Review and update care plans reflecting customer needs and wellbeing.
• Identify opportunities to grow the branch and engage with the local community.
• Champion excellent customer service in every interaction.
• Support on-call duties in line with branch rota.
