Job summary

Radis Community Care in Gloucester is seeking a Care Co-ordinator to schedule and allocate work for a team of Care Workers, provide supervision and support, and coordinate with Social Services and other professionals involved in client care.

The role may include recruitment duties and occasionally performing Care Worker tasks, with participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota. A driving licence and car availability are required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care and support to vulnerable adults.
• NVQ Level 2 (towards Level 3) in Health and Social Care.
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and allocate work to a team of Care Workers daily/weekly.
• Provide supervision and support to Care Workers and Field Supervisors.
• Liaise with Social Services and other health and social care professionals.
• Involve in recruitment and selection of potential employees.
• Perform duties of a Care Worker when required and participate in out-of-hours on-call.
