Radis Community Care in Gloucester is seeking a Care Co-ordinator to schedule and allocate work for a team of Care Workers, provide supervision and support, and coordinate with Social Services and other professionals involved in client care.
The role may include recruitment duties and occasionally performing Care Worker tasks, with participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota. A driving licence and car availability are required.

Established in 2001, Radis Community Care has grown to become a leading provider of community based social care and support for thousands of vulnerable adults and children in England and Wales, focused on supporting people to live independently in their own homes and part of their local communities.
We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet our service user's individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.
As a Care Co-ordinator you will be required to schedule and allocate work to a team of Care Workers on a daily / weekly basis. You will be providing supervision and support to Care Workers and Field Supervisors. The role will involve liaising with Social Services and all other social and health care professionals involved in the care of service users. There will be also an opportunity to take part in the recruitment and selection of potential employees. The role will also involve performing duties of a Care Worker when required and participate in the out of hours on-call service.
You will have experience providing care and support services to vulnerable adults and committed to setting and maintaining high standards in every area of work. You will have a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 working towards Level 3 Health and Social Care. The role will require you to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
