Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in Monmouth is seeking a Care Coordinator to join a dedicated local team and support carers, customers and the wider community. You will help ensure visits are well-planned, carers feel supported, and customers receive care they can rely on.

The role requires experience in the care sector, a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to pursue), and a full UK driving licence. This is a full-time position based at the Monmouth branch with opportunities to grow within

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• A good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills, confidence in decision-making and a supportive, people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
