Job summary

Universal Care Services is seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to support our domiciliary care service, ensuring safe, person-centred care while aiding compliance, staffing, and service growth.

You will coordinate care delivery, manage staff rotas, maintain governance systems, and build strong relationships with service users, families, professionals, and commissioners. The role offers development opportunities within a growing care organisation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in domiciliary care or another regulated care setting.
  • Knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and care compliance.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing or supporting care teams.

Job description

Are you an experienced care professional who enjoys coordinating care, supporting teams, and delivering high-quality services?

Universal Care Services is looking for a Care Coordinator to help manage our domiciliary care service, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care while supporting compliance, staffing, and service growth.

Right to Work (Essential)

You must already have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating care delivery and staff rotas
  • Supporting quality, compliance, and CQC readiness
  • Recruiting, supervising, and supporting care staff
  • Maintaining accurate records and governance systems
  • Building positive relationships with service users, families, professionals, and commissioners
  • Supporting service growth and occupancy targets
  • Participating in the on-call rota

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexibility required to meet service needs)

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in domiciliary care or another regulated care setting
  • Knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and care compliance
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience managing or supporting care teams
  • Full right to work in the UK

Desirable: Experience supporting a service through a CQC inspection.

  • 28 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays, pro rata)
  • Paid mileage at 30p per mile (where applicable)
  • £400 Refer a Friend Scheme (T&Cs apply)
