Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare in Southport is seeking a Care Coordinator to ensure extraordinary care and smooth operation across the local area. You will work closely with the Branch Care Manager to support carers, customers and the community, ensuring visits are well-planned and standards are met.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, care-sector experience (ideally supervisory), and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • A good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Strong communication skills, confidence in decision-making and a supportive, people-first approach.

Responsibilities

  • Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
  • Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
  • Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
  • Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
  • Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
  • Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
  • Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.

Education

Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
Supervisory experience in care sector
