Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare in Aylesbury is seeking a Care Coordinator to keep extraordinary care running smoothly. You’ll work with your Branch Care Manager to support carers, customers and the community, ensuring visits are well-planned and every customer receives reliable care.

This permanent, full-time role offers opportunities to grow within a supportive culture and to contribute to the branch’s ongoing success and community impact.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication, confidence in decision-making and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across the local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening branch capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans reflecting each customer's needs and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
