About The Role

As Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of our home care service.

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating care schedules, matching our Care Professionals with customers and ensuring we provide reliable, consistent care.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Planning and managing Care Professional rotas
  • Matching Care Professionals with customers based on their needs, location and continuity of care
  • Responding to changes in care requirements and adjusting schedules when required

  • Maintaining accurate information within our electronic care and rostering systems
  • Supporting the growth and development of our care service
  • Participating in the on-call rota, with additional payment
  • Providing support within the community when required

This is a varied role where no two days are exactly the same. You'll need to be organised and able to make decisions, but you'll also have an experienced management team around you for support.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands care and, importantly, understands people.

You Will Need
  • Previous experience working within health and social care
  • Experience within domiciliary/community care would be particularly beneficial
  • Experience coordinating care, managing rotas or supervising care teams would be an advantage
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confidence using computer-based systems and technology
  • The ability to remain calm and organised when priorities change
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
  • A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

A Level 2 or above qualification in Health & Social Care would be advantageous, although we are more interested in finding the right person with the right care experience, attitude and potential.

More Than Just Managing a Rota

Great care coordination isn't simply about filling spaces on a schedule.

It's about understanding our customers, knowing our Care Professionals and creating continuity wherever possible. It's about supporting your team when things change, solving problems and making sure our customers receive the dependable, high-quality care they expect from Bluebird Care.

You'll be joining an established local business with an experienced management team who will support you to develop your knowledge, confidence and career.

If you're ready to take the next step in your career in care, we'd love to hear from you.
