Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced Care Workers for a flexible day-shift role in Mansfield. This established care home aims to support elderly residents with residential and dementia care, with a focus on dignity and empathy.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS, up-to-date Infection Control, Safeguarding, Moving and Handling, Health and Safety training, plus a minimum 3 months care experience and a 2-year referenceable work history. Medication training is desirable.

Qualifications

• Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.
• A bubbly and outgoing personality and a true passion to make the lives of those under your care as fulfilling as possible.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in a Care Setting
• Two-year referenceable work history
• An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service or able to pay £49.50 for one upfront
• Up to date mandatory training certificates in Infection Control, Safeguarding, Moving and Handling and Health and Safety

• Attend to client’s activities of daily living ensuring that they are always well hydrated and comfortable.
• General Housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning client’s rooms.
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems
• You must always comply with health and safety in a professional manner.

Are you looking for flexible day shifts to fit around your current role?

We are looking for experienced Care Workers to become part of an established team of Care Staff. This purpose-built care home is looking for enthusiastic Care Assistants that enjoy supporting elderly people with Residential and Dementia Care Needs. You will be working as part of their dynamic team, making sure their clients are well cared for in a dignified and empathetic manner. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Daily tasks will include:

• Attend to client’s activities of daily living ensuring that they are always well hydrated and comfortable.
• General Housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning client’s rooms.
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems
• You must always comply with health and safety in a professional manner.

To be a suitable for this position you must have:

• An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service or the facilities to be able to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50
• Up to date mandatory training certificates in Infection Control, Safeguarding, Moving and Handling and Health and Safety
• A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care Setting
• A two-year referenceable work history
• A bubbly and outgoing personality and a true passion to make the lives of those under your care as fulfilling as possible.

Medication Training and experience is desirable but not essential.

This is an ongoing role that has the potential to become permanent for successful candidates.

Shift times are:

Afternoons – 1400 to 2200

There are other shifts available on request especially weekends and bank holidays

Rates of pay are £13.05 per hour and you will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year for time served.
