Job summary

Nexxuscare, a Staffordshire-based domiciliary care provider, is hiring a Care Assistant to work in Cannock and surrounding areas. You will support clients at home to maintain independence, with flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities include personal care, promoting dignity, medication assistance, meals, light domestic tasks, and monitoring wellbeing. Successful candidates will complete onboarding and DBS checks.

About The Role

Care Assistant - Domiciliary Care- Cannock and surrounding

We offer a wide range of working hours and flexibility including:

• Weekends - 7am - 10pm

As a care assistant you will provide care to individuals in their own home to ensure they remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.

The role will include support with:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks - washing, showering and toileting
• Promoting dignity
• Medication administration
• Preparing meals and supporting clients during eating and drinking, where required
• Domestic help including laundry and general cleaning
• Monitoring changes in clients wellbeing, mobility or behaviour
• Ensuring accurate documentation of any duties completed and observations

FULL TRAINING IS PROVIDED AT OUR DEDICATED TRAINING HUB IN CANNOCK.

• Drivers licence and access to a car are essential
• All successful candidates are subject to an enhanced DBS check as well as a complete onboarding process.
