Job summary

Nexxus Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to provide domiciliary care in clients’ own homes around Wombourne and surrounding areas. You will help maintain independence by supporting daily living activities with dignity and respect.

We offer flexible hours including full-time, part-time and weekends. Full training is provided at our training hub in Cannock. A clean driving licence and access to a car are essential to reach clients in the community.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks - washing, showering and toileting
• Promoting dignity
• Medication administration
• Preparing meals and supporting clients during eating and drinking, where required
• Domestic help including laundry and general cleaning
• Monitoring changes in clients wellbeing, mobility or behaviour
• Ensuring accurate documentation of any duties completed and observations
