Job summary

Connected Health is seeking a Weekend Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes across Northern Ireland. No prior homecare experience required; accredited training provided. You will deliver personal care, maintain dignity, and report changes in conditions.

A valid driver’s licence and access to a car are required. Competitive pay (£15/hour) with a £200 sign-on bonus after 3 months and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English, both written and spoken.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to your own car.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's individual care plan, preferences and needs.
• Respect service users' dignity, independence and choices at all times.
• Maintain professional relationships with service users, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Report any changes in a service user's condition or circumstances to the relevant supervisor.
• Follow Connected Health policies, procedures, Health and Safety requirements and on-call guidance.
• Complete all required documentation, including care records and timesheets.
• Attend induction, training, supervision and team meetings as required.
• Maintain and develop knowledge and skills through ongoing training and experience.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Service Manager, following any required training.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

Who We're Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience in homecare is helpful but not essential.
• Communication Skills: Good standard of English, both written and spoken.
