Connected Health is seeking a Care Assistant in Newtownards to provide compassionate homecare support to clients in their own homes. No prior experience required, with accredited training and ongoing development offered.

You will work as part of a supportive team to help clients maintain independence and quality of life. The role offers competitive pay up to £14.10 per hour, flexible full- or part-time shifts, and a £200 sign-on bonus after three months.

Formación

Who We're Looking For

Experience: Previous experience in homecare is helpful but not essential

Communication Skills: Good standard of English, both written and spoken

Driver Requirement: Must have a valid driver's licence and access to your own car

Flexibility: Must be available to work alternative weekends

Key duties and responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's individual care plan, preferences and needs.
• Respect service users' dignity, independence and choices at all times.
• Maintain professional relationships with service users, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Report any changes in a service user's condition or circumstances to the relevant supervisor.
• Follow Connected Health policies, procedures, Health and Safety requirements and on-call guidance.
• Complete all required documentation, including care records and timesheets.
• Attend induction, training, supervision and team meetings as required.
• Maintain and develop knowledge and skills through ongoing training and experience.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Service Manager, following any required training.

To undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
