Job summary

Connected Health Group Limited is seeking a Weekend Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes. Training is provided, and prior homecare experience is not required, making it a great entry point into a rewarding care career.

Competitively paid at £15 per hour, you will work two weekend shifts out of four and have access to ongoing development opportunities, a sign-on bonus after 3 months, and a range of wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English, both written and spoken.
• Communication skills are essential for clear, respectful interaction with clients and families.
• Driver's license and access to your own car are required to travel to service users' homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's care plan.
• Maintain service users' dignity, independence and choices at all times.
• Report changes in a service user's condition to the supervisor and complete required documentation.

Who We're Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience in homecare is helpful but not essential
• Communication Skills: Good standard of English, both written and spoken
• Driver Requirement: Must have a valid driver's licence and access to your own car

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's individual care plan, preferences and needs.
• Respect service users' dignity, independence and choices at all times.
• Maintain professional relationships with service users, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Report any changes in a service user's condition or circumstances to the relevant supervisor.
• Follow Connected Health policies, procedures, Health and Safety requirements and on-call guidance.
• Complete all required documentation, including care records and timesheets.
• Attend induction, training, supervision and team meetings as required.
• Maintain and develop knowledge and skills through ongoing training and experience.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Service Manager, following any required training.
