Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Carer to support clients in Poole, delivering daily assistance, personal care, meals, and companionship in their own homes. You’ll help with routines, shopping, and mobility, bringing warmth, dignity, and a friendly presence to brighten mornings.

We value kindness over qualifications — no prior care experience required, but a caring nature and good attitude are essential. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships and work with sensitivity.
• Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily routines, household tasks and personal care.
• Assist with shopping, meal preparation, and making tea.
• Provide companionship and a listening ear to clients.
• Assist with medication as needed.
• Shift patterns include 10pm–7am.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication
• Shift Patterns are 10pm-7am

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Experience preferred, but training with be provided
