Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Care Assistant at Garden City Court Care Home in Letchworth Garden City. You will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents with dignity and respect, supporting daily living activities and promoting independence.

We offer full-time or part-time contracts, with shifts 7.30am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 9.30pm, 20–35 hours per week. Weekend enhancement applies and comprehensive training starts on day one.

Qualifications

• Empathetic individual with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Ability to care for older people with compassion and respect.
• Induction training and ongoing learning opportunities available.
• Must be able to work shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Must be aged 18 years or over.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence.
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Follow individual personalised care plans.
• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person-centred care.
