Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a dedicated care professional to lead a designated unit, review and update care plans, and provide personal care to residents. You will administer medications and help run social activities during shifts.

Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is essential; Level 3 is desirable or you can work towards it. We value substantial experience with older people in residential care and require a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Level 3 Diploma desirable or willing to work towards.
• Significant experience with older people in residential care.
• DBS check (Enhanced) required.
• Overseas Police Check may be needed for time abroad, in addition to DBS.

Job description

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift
  Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents., An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
