Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a capable care leader to take charge of a designated unit, coordinating staff and ensuring high standards of resident care.

You will review and update care plans, deliver personal care, and administer medications while coordinating social activities throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Extensive experience with older people in residential care.
• Desirable: Level 3 Diploma or willingness to work towards.
• Enhanced DBS check; overseas police check may be required for time abroad.

Job description

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift
  Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents., An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
