Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes Ltd in Worthing is seeking a Care Assistant to join the Day shift team at Pentlands Nursing Home. You will deliver compassionate care, promote residents' independence, and maintain electronic care records.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred, but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on Days at our award-winning Nursing Home Pentlands in Worthing.

Hours - Full Time or Part Time hours available.

As a Care Assistant You Will Be

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More About You

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
