South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking two Care Assistants to join Abundant Grace, our dementia-focused home in Seaford, on day shifts. We offer 24 or 36 hours per week, with rates starting at £12.94 per hour on weekdays and higher on weekends. Full training, DBS, and pension benefits are provided as part of a comprehensive reward package.

We are looking for two Care Assistants (full-time and part-time) to join our team on Days at Abundant Grace, our luxurious Dementia Nursing Home, in Seaford.

Hours: 24 hrs or 36 hrs per week

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More about you:

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
